About Sahyatri

Sahyatri means "fellow traveller", and that is the role we try to play. We are a small tour and travel company based in Kolkata. We plan each trip personally, book everything that goes into it, and stay on the phone from the day you enquire until the day you are back home.

What we do

• Fixed tours from Kolkata – tested itineraries such as our Sundarban (2 nights / 3 days) and Goa (8 nights / 9 days, Kolkata to Kolkata) packages, with transport, stay and meals arranged.
• Custom trips – you tell us the dates, the people and the budget; we build the itinerary. Any state or union territory of India, and a growing list of countries.
• Group travel – office outings, school and college trips, large family holidays and pilgrimage groups, with group discounts.
• Tickets and transfers – train and flight tickets from Kolkata, cabs from your door to the station, and private vehicles at the destination.

How we work

Every enquiry gets a day-wise plan with a clear price and a written list of what is included and what is not. Nothing is booked until you say yes. Once you confirm with an advance, we book the transport and hotels and send you the vouchers, and the same person who planned the trip stays reachable on WhatsApp throughout.

Because it is home. Our departures leave from Sealdah, Howrah and Shalimar stations and Kolkata airport, our guests speak Bengali, Hindi and English, and our partners at every destination know what a Kolkata family expects – from the food to the pace of the day.
